Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a 2006 Hawkeye Impreza RX (the non-turbo) with 64k miles on the clock & a cambelt replacement done at 40k and was just wondering a couple of things; what are cars like these like for reliability? I've read stories of earlier Impreza's with head gasket issues. Also, what are the common things to look for when buying a second-hand Hawkeye in particular? I've also been worrying about the potential high servicing costs of the car, would I need to take it to a specialist Subaru garage? And the big question is... Should I buy my first Impreza?! ?
