TRAX is back for 2011, and the date you need to put on your calendars is Sunday 4th September! The Ultimate Performance Car Event will return to the prestigious Silverstone Circuit for one day of thrilling track action, huge club displays and a massive performance tuning retail village.

What's on:
Power & Style Awards
Brand new for TRAX 2011 is the Power and Style Awards in association with Yokohama. The concept is simple; we want the UK’s best cars to take centre stage at the ultimate performance car event!

Track Time
With a track day at Silverstone costing over £300 this is your chance to drive your car around the famous Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit for only £30* in advance per 18 minute session.

Club Displays
The foundation of TRAX is its massive support from car clubs throughout the UK and Europe with more than 4,500 of the best cars on display. The quality and variety on display is unrivalled, so expect an incredible turnout.

Campsite
Here at TRAX towers we know that many of you drive hundreds of miles, and get up at the crack of 3am (!) to convoy to TRAX so, brand new for 2011 we have arranged an official TRAX campsite!

Maxxis British Drift Championship 5th Round
Brand new drift action for TRAX 2011! The Maxxis BDC bring their fifth round to TRAX! For the first time the Maxxis British Drift Championship has joined forces with TRAX to provide Super-Pro drifting at Silverstone.

Booking club tickets still incurs a handling fee from the organisers (see tickets) just like all their other tickets so yes, the face value is £15 but then the handling fee is unfortunately applied on top (as well as PayPal fees) IIRC.

So a car with 4 people in it will be paying a booking fee of £12??????

or.. the SIDC have 100 cars on a stand (like years gone by) and they pay a booking fee of £300 to Trax??????????

Oh please!!

I've organised club stands at Trax for the last 7 years and never had to pass on a 'booking fee'

I answered your question in an attempt to help and if you care to read my response again, I quite clearly said IF I RECALL CORRECTLY - what I didnt not do is respond in order to be spoken to in that manner.

Tell you what, why not do your part for the club and try actually contributing rather than trying to tear strips eh? We're all in the same boat and members, ROs and committee all pay the same price.

You may also want to read the T&Cs on the PDF you posted about indemnity insurance as well.

I'm not being funny with you.

I still can't see where it says about booking fee cost?
does the SIDC not have insurance anyway as par for the course.... is this not what the membership goes towards anyway?

ps:
I've done plenty for the SIDC over the years... (as a paid up member for the last ten years)

I know you have and that's genuinely sppreciated which is why it's a surprise to receive such a reaction - particularly wham it seems the club's finally starting to turn a corner.

I'm only going on what I understand to be the case - if it's not then I apologise, I was only trying to help.

I'm not going to say any more - I'm sure someone more involved in ticket sales will be able to answer your questions with more conviction.
